The annual Men versus Senior versus Ladies competition took place on Sunday on a glorious sunny morning.
The playing groups remained a closely guarded secret until the players arrived, with all 36 competitors eager to discover who they would face in a game of Skins.
Played off handicap, each player aimed to win a Skin, or hole. Any tied Skins carried forward to the next hole, continuing until one player won a hole and claimed all rollover Skins.
The condition of the course led to some fantastic golf being played with pars and birdies in abundance. Alongside the great play there was plenty of fun and laughter as competitors swept up several Skins in a row.
This year the Men were triumphant with an unreachable total of 83, Ladies came 2nd with 71 and the Seniors 3rd with 56.
Seniors Captain Mike Robertson and Ladies Captain Karen Lewis presented the Trophy to the Mens Captain Bruce Somervile.
Many people stayed on afterwards for the delicious Sizzling Barbeque. Thanks go to Josh and the greenkeeping team for keeping the course in great condition despite the extreme weather we’ve been having and to Niki and the team for looking after us all so well in the Clubhouse.
