Summer Triple Challenge – A Sunshine-Filled Success
This year saw the exciting launch of our brand-new Summer Triple Challenge, and we were thrilled to welcome 24 enthusiastic entrants to the course for what turned out to be a stunning day of golf under bright blue skies.
The format kept players on their toes, with teams of three playing off full handicap. The challenge was divided across the course:
- Holes 1–6: one score to count
- Holes 7–12: two scores to count
- Holes 13–18: all three scores to count
This added a fun and tactical twist to the game, keeping every team engaged from first tee to final putt.
Thanks to the hard work of Josh and our greenkeeping team, the course was in fantastic condition. The firm fairways gave plenty of bounce and roll, and the greens were smooth and true—perfect for some long drives and confident putts.
The competition was close throughout, with just a few points separating the top teams.
3rd Place (on countback): Tas Violaris, Steve Manser, and Gerry Waite – 81 points
2nd Place: Roger Scott, Lesley Horne, and Glynnis Sayer – 82 points
1st Place: Chris Gilbert, Mike Bright, and Ted Donovan – 85 points
A huge well done to our winners and a big thank you to everyone who took part. We hope the Summer Triple Challenge becomes a firm favourite on the calendar for years to come!
