Our professional David, recently returned from the Algarve after taking his first ever Senior group overseas.
Comprising mainly of David’s Thursday senior coaching group and individual members, the group headed off to the Fabulous Vila Moura complex in Portugal.
The gents played four rounds of golf on incredible courses such as Quinta Do Lago, and Dom Pedro Victoria, host course to the Portugal Masters event on the DP World Tour! They also had an amazing experience at the brand new Ombria course in the region of the same name.
The group considered themselves pretty lucky to have dodged the local storms with the golf days getting the warmest of the weather and only the days off being hit by the rain.
They played a mixture of four-ball matches and individual Stableford formats with Russell Taylor coming home as the individual winner and Jim High the runner-up.
The gents said that they had thoroughly enjoyed the group coaching and informative on course coaching given to them by David and had all enjoyed the area, golf and each others company. The talk on the plane was already about a return trip in the very near future.
