With the festive season now in full swing, David’s Saturday Clinic gents got the ball rolling with a mix of expert tuition and some fun TrackMan range games on Saturday 6th December.
Although the group were, as ever, keen to get out on the course, the recent deluge meant there was no option but to stay on the range. That didn’t dampen spirits, however, with the TrackMan proving a very enjoyable alternative on a wet day.
The eventual winners of the six-hole team scramble were Dave Clark, John Wellington and Chris Dunley, with Chris Smith, Andrew Arnison and David Edwards finishing as runners-up.
Individual prize winners included Paul Arscott, who claimed both Nearest the Pin on the short hole and Long Drive. John Wellington won Middle Green, while Mike Foden took the prize for Long Green.
At the prize-giving, David thanked all of the staff at 180 Degrees for their excellent service, food and drinks throughout the year, as well as Niki and the Smyth family for their continued investment and development at Cuckfield. He also expressed his appreciation to all of his regular clinic attendees for their enthusiasm and support throughout 2025.
On behalf of the group, Andrew Fairbank thanked David for his tuition and encouragement and presented him with a very thoughtful gift from everyone.
