The ladies of Cuckfield have enjoyed another incredibly busy year, both on and off the course, but that certainly didn’t stop them from turning out in full festive cheer for the annual Christmas Clinic on Saturday 14th December.
With some fabulous Christmas outfits on display, the ladies first settled down to a delicious breakfast at 180 Degrees before heading up to the range for an afternoon of fun and games using the Trackman system.
Hosted by Ryan and David, who kept a watchful eye on proceedings, the group teed it up at Virtual Wentworth for a six-hole team challenge, followed by nearest-the-pin and long drive competitions.
The winning team at Wentworth was Elaine Violaris, Pam Grinyer and Fiona Candler, with Louisa Rydon, Ann Harding and Jane Chatfield finishing as runners-up.
Individual prizes went to Jane Chatfield and Elaine Violaris for nearest the pin, while Pam Grinyer powered an impressive near-200-yard drive to claim the long drive prize. Hazel Smyth was a very popular winner of the Best Festive Dressed award, thanks to her wonderful elves outfit.
At the prize giving, David and Ryan thanked all the staff at 180 Degrees for their excellent service, food and drinks throughout 2025. The ladies were congratulated on their outstanding form and achievements in their county competitions over the year, and special thanks were given to Lady Captain Louisa Rydon and Vice Captain Karen Lewis for a fantastic year of leadership.
The pros also expressed their gratitude to Niki, Paul and Hazel for their continued support of both the professional team and Cuckfield Golf Centre. Last, but certainly not least, David and Ryan thanked the ladies for their unwavering support throughout the year.
Lady Captain Louisa Rydon and Vice Captain Karen Lewis closed proceedings by thanking David and Ryan for their tuition, trips, events and constant encouragement during 2025, presenting them both with a very generous gift from the ladies.
