Saturday was an amazing day from start to finish. Brilliant weather, challenging golf, delicious lunch and a lot of good cheer!

A very special thanks to Clare and Lynne for their time, ensuring everything ran well was much appreciated. Also a big thank you to our very own auctioneer, Iain, who always puts on a great event.
Also, thank you to Niki and her team; they were so friendly and accommodating, making it seem like we are all part of one big team.
It was so good to hear from Jim Deans, he had just served up lunch to 100s of homeless and sprinted up on his daughter’s scooter to talk to us. He’s so passionate about what he does, you can hear it in his voice. They have their own website: sussexhomelesssupport.co.uk should you be interested in seeing what they do.
Also, Emma, the CEO of Kangaroos, another excellent charity that supports families struggling with various difficulties. She shared a letter from someone who had benefited from the charity; hearing about an individual always adds more meaning. www.kangaroos.org.uk.
It was great to see her present Darren with his ‘Hero’s Award’, which was well deserved.
